Los Lonely Boys

I just picked up the self titled cd from Los Lonely Boys and I want to share the joy.

So, I may not exactly be cutting edge to just now be hearing these guys. But that's not the point. The point is that this is a pretty sweet cd.

I'm sure you can find all kinds of detailed reviews on the net if you want to know exactly what they sound like. But, the easy description is to say that they blend a little Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Richie Valens (all artists they mention as influences).

I highly recommend this band.

The cd is packed full of good songs with sweet grooves and the occasional sizzling guitar solo. These guys are definitely from the SRV school of guitar. And that, my friends, is a good thing.
